It is Easter Sunday! Lutheran Diakonia Foundation, Brazil
“When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus' body." Mark 16.1
Jesus is risen, truly risen!
And they went back to the tomb in the rock, in which the body of Jesus lay. They carried herbs to anoint the body of Christ.
In memory of them and of all the women, dignified life resumes.
In memory of so many struggles and fights, life is reborn each new day.
In memory of Jesus of Nazareth, a carpenter from the periphery, friend, life is strengthened in the transforming diakonia, in the breaking of food, in solidarity, in the collective responsibility for the Common House.
Life Projects (Projetos de Vida) denounce the violence of the cross and announce the resurrection in the popular struggle for the vaccine, the end of hunger, and violence.
It is Easter Sunday!
