The Lutheran Church of Peru , is comprised of twelve congregations and several faith communities.
The church started in very poor Lima neighbourhood in the late 1970. In the decade of 2000 new missions were started sred in Iquitos, which is the amazonian area; and In Cusco, which is in the Andean area.
In 2010 decade Lutheran congregations founded by German missionaries joined ILP, which are in the north area of Peru, surrounding Trujillo city.
